v  Definition            : a short question that’s added to the end of the question (declarative

  sentences) for asking information or agreement.

v  Function             : for asking information or agreement.

v  Formula              :

Linking verb “be” / auxiliary verb +/- not + pronoun

Description :

·         Linking verb “be” = is, am, are, was, were

Auxiliary à    a. Primary auxiliary verb (be, do, have)

                       b. Modal auxiliary verb (will, would, may, might, etc.)

Which is match with the verb in the context.

·         Pronoun must be match with the subject in the context

v  Example               :

a.      You love math, don’t you? (Kamu suka matematika, bukan?)

b.      You don’t love math, do you? (Kamu tidak suka matematika, kan?)

c.       Ahmad didn’t come late, did he?

d.      The man is stingy, isn’t he?

e.      You haven’t finish your homework, have you?
